Katy Perry and Russell Brand - wedding

The celebrity couple has chosen an Indian wedding and will be blessed by a Hindu priest.
The wedding will be a four-day affair from October 23 to 26.

The duo famously fell for each other when they were rehearsing
for the MTV Music Awards last year.
The Californian pop princess threw a plastic bottle across the room,
which struck Russell, the host of the ceremony, on the head.
 


Russell said: “That night we went on our first date and she was so funny
and pretty but more importantly she emits some gentle power that makes
me want to be good.
You’ll think it frivolous of me to say I knew I’d marry her on that first date,
but the truth is I fell in love with her when she hit me with that bottle.
Like Cupid in a riot.

from Dixie Chicks to Court Yard Hounds

Natalie Maines isn't ready to get back to doing music with the Dixie Chicks,
so sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire are putting out their own album
and calling themselves the Court Yard Hounds.

They’re also getting ready to tour.
Their first appearance as the Court Yard Hounds will be on March 18
at the South By Southwest festival in Austin.


Then they’ll perform what's described as
"a string of intimate shows across the country,"
the schedule for which hasn’t been released, yet.
Their album will be available May 4.
